The mother's dual role as primary caregiver and worker has the potential to influence the quality of mother-child interactions. In fact, adolescence really needs guidance and support from parents, especially mothers. This study aims to explore the dynamics of self-disclosure among adolescents with mothers who work full-time. The approach used was qualitative, with a semi- structured interview method, with four mother-teen pairs, adolescents aged at least 18 years who were living with their parents, and full-time working mothers selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis according to Braun and Clark (2021). The research results showed that the dynamics of self-disclosure were positive. The dynamics of positive self- disclosure could be seen from the quality of interactions that occurred, where adolescents considered the mother as the main attachment figure, so that they believed and felt positive emotions after telling the story. This condition also arose because of the mother's sensitivity, responsiveness, and assertive communication. Therefore, an attitude of mutual understanding was formed between mother and child regarding their respective conditions. These findings showed that although there was limited time for interaction between adolescents and full-time working mothers, the quality of interaction and information shared with each other led to a positive relationship.
