As always, our goal remains to foster an environment where scholarly exploration thrives, generating insights that contribute to both local and global understandings of human behavior and experience.
This volume comprises five articles, each offering valuable contributions to the realm of psychology. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the diligent researchers whose dedication has enriched this edition with thought-provoking findings and discussions.
The first article discusses the role of psychological empowerment in mediating the relationship between flexible working arrangements and innovative work behavior. The results indicated that psychological empowerment fully mediates the relationship between those variables. Following that, the second article navigates the role of self-compassion on posttraumatic growth of the orphanage adolescents. The results showed that there was positive relationship between self-compassion and posttraumatic growth of fatherless adolescents living in orphanage. The third article takes us to understand the influence of transformational leadership and psychological capital in work engagement among Generation Z employees. It revealed that transformational leadership and psychological capital together significantly influenced the work engagement of Generation Z employees.
The fourth article addresses the various strategies that leaders have implemented in dealing with virtual leadership. The results showed that some strategies implemented to manage the challenges faced in virtual leadership such as making work agreements, implementing periodic coordination, developing a digitalized work system, creating an output-oriented work culture, and building team.
